Sarah Weller is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has recently joined the Center for Joint health team to serve the patients in the Riverview, Florida area. She holds an MSN from the University of Phoenix, graduated Summa cum laude, and was awarded the National Leadership and Success Award. She has a BSN from Ohio University and an ASN from Clark State College. Sarah enjoyed ten years of fulfilling bedside nursing in Cardiology and Critical Care Intensive Care Units. Sarah knew she wanted to become a nurse at the age of six. She has always had a passion for helping others, getting to know people, and making a difference in her patients’ lives.
Sarah lives with her husband and two young daughters. She recently relocated to the Riverview area from Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, is an avid sports fan, playing the piano, and loves singing along with the radio.
“I love taking care of patients in their time of need. I learn something from each patient encounter. I carry this over personally or professionally and such, grow each day. Through a smile, active listening, and being present, patients feel comfortable allowing me to participate in their care with them. It is an honor to be a Nurse Practitioner and help others.”
