Skin tags (acrochordons) are very common, small, harmless skin growths. They usually present as a flesh colored bump sticking out of the skin. They form primarily in areas of friction such as the groin, body folds, armpits, neck, and eyelids. Removal of a skin tag can easily be performed with scissor removal, or electrodessication.
